Micaela Stutzki
CrossFit Level 1 Coach
Hey everyone, Mic here. I am a CrossFit Level 1 certified coach who has a passion for all things fitness related. I found my love for the sport while playing hockey at Nipissing University while studying Physical and Health Education. I am currently working towards my goal of becoming a full time fire fighter, while also coaching at Built Strength and Conditioning.
Athletics have always been and still are a huge part of my life.
While still playing broomball and hockey, I also strive to continue to compete in different fitness competitions and events, while always bettering myself as an athlete and coach.
I can’t wait to meet each and everyone of you. I strive to help you meet you goals and make the impossible possible.

Michaela Summers
CrossFit Level 1 Coach
Hi! I’m Coach Michaela (Mc-Kyla). I have loved athletics and how training in a gym can drive athletic performance in sport since I was a teenager. I was a semi competitve figure skater for all
of my youth. I coached on ice and dry land training for power skating and figure skating for 6 years. In my second year of university I switched to varsity rowing at mcmaster. Once I
graduated I really dove into Crossfit because I loved the variety and versatility of it. I have been competing for 6+ years usually with coach Shayne as my partner.
I love helping people achieve their goals and feel confident in the gym. Whether it be body building, sport driven, or for overall health and funtionality. Most recently I had twin boys. I stayed active during my pregnancey and really dove into recovery post partum. Im excited to help other moms stay active and recover properly post partum.

Laura Klingenberg
CrossFit Level 1 Coach
Hey guys! I’m Coach Laura though you don’t see me coach much right now since I’m currently at home with my 5 month old son.
I’ve always been involved in sports, with horseback riding being my main one growing up, then switching and focusing on Rugby throughout the end of high school and University.
Graduating with my Bachelor of Kinesiology I hung up my cleats and started getting into coaching finding my way to CrossFit. Throughout my experience both as an athlete and coach l’ve learned the importance of good coaching, and movement integrity has on increasing performance. Getting back to the gym Postpartum has just highlighted even more the importance of a good foundation. Looking forward to when I can come back and start coaching again!

Shayne Summers
CrossFit Level 1 Coach
I am a CrossFit level 1 trainer. I’ve been doing CrossFit for almost 8 years and competitively for 7. Over the years l’ve developed a favouritism for Olympic lifting and grunt work/ strongman. I
Still compete in 3-4 CrossFit competitions every year and I am doing my first Olympic lifting competition in October.
My athletic history has been in rugby and soccer. I have never been in a commercial gym and love the variety BUILT has to offer the community. Previously having a career in the trades I have shifted to a career in law enforcement. My time in the gym is also family time, you will see my wife coach Michaela and our twin boys pushing our limits everyday.
I encourage all of you to introduce yourself and share your experiences with me! I won’t say no to just about any workout you throw at me. Catch me at my Sunday classes for bootcamp and
mobility or for barbell club through the week when Coach Emily is away.

Dee Muszynski
Dietitian
Dee Muszynski is a Registered Dietitian at DeeRDNutrition.
Dee obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Applied Human Nutrition. She continued her studies at Guelph University and obtained her Masters in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences and pursued her Precision Nutrition Level 1 certification while she was finishing her Masters. She is in the process of completing her Intuitive Eating Certification and her Girls Gone Strong Women’s Coaching Specialist Certification.

Carissa Bye

“I have been a sports enthusiast since I was little playing in rep soccer till I went away for college and I was the team where I was named team captain for my respective teams.
I have taken part in CrossFit competitions, 1/2 marathons, triathlons, and I completed the 1/2 marathon trail run at blue mountain a few years ago that almost killed me. But I loved it.
On top of all my fun extracurricular activities, I work at Meridian credit union as their local mortgage specialist and also farm with my dad on our beef cow/calf operation. I can’t wait to extend my love for helping other people and encouraging them to be their best
selves!

Coach Lauren

I’m Lauren, the newest coach joining the Built Strength and Conditioning team! I’m currently enrolled at Georgian College in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
For most of my life l’ve prided myself on being an active and healthy person, spending a majority of my childhood training as a competitive gymnast and dancer. I quickly turned to CrossFit when those competitive years ended and fell in love with the versatility of the sport. I take pride in proper body mechanics, inclusivity, scaling to each individuals limit, and not forgetting to add a little bit of FUN!

Coach Lucas

My name is Lucas and I am the newest team member at Built Strength and Conditioning. I just graduated from the kinesiology program at Western University and have my CSEP-CPT personal training certification. I started lifting in gym class in high school and fell in love with powerlifting. Seeing people achieve their goals and make meaningful progress is incredibly rewarding on both ends and I hope to see a lot of that while I am here.”
Coach Lucas also just finished an internship at the base where he was a PSP (personal support programmer) specializing in exercise programming and physical training!

Coach Kaitlin

I’m Kait! Health and fitness have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing an abundance of sports, really honing in on competitive rugby and hockey. In the last couple of years, I have slowly joined the world of Crossfit and have never looked back! There is something SO COOL about focusing on what your body can do, & seeing progress in strength, technique and skill work. I am excited to start this new endeavour & look forward to seeing you all in the gym!

Coach Bayleigh

Hey everyone! My name is Bayleigh and I’m excited to be stepping into this new role at Built!
As a lifelong athlete, movement has always been a big passion of mine. Growing up I competed in both dance and gymnastics. While away at University, I joined the National Rowing Team and represented Canada at the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo.
After returning home from the Games, I found CrossFit as a way to stay active in my community and very quickly fell in love with it! There’s just something so uplifting about challenging yourself
to your own limits with like-minded individuals!
As an adaptive athlete, I strongly believe fitness is for everyone no matter your strength or capabilities. I’m excited to be joining the team and to be working with you to help you reach new goals no matter the size!
