With over 10 years experience training in the fitness industry he has grown with the ever changing fitness world, always delivering the most up to date and current exercise practices.

Emily Bass is the owner and head coach at Built Strength and Conditioning. Emily has over 5 years experience teaching and coaching in the fitness industry. As a Registered Kinesiologist, CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologist, CrossFit Level 1 coach and FMS coach Emily is consistently up to date with delivering the most current and scientific fitness practices to ensure nothing but the best for her clients and her gym. With 3 years in competitive bodybuilding, 3 years in competitive CrossFit and an affinity for Olympic weightlifting, Emily’s diverse fitness knowledge will help you achieve your goals. Emily’s smile, outgoing personality and uncanny ability to make you feel like the only one in the room will ensure a top fitness experience. Jake is a Personal Trainer for Velocity and will be working with some of our athletes and weight loss clients. Jake has also developed his own brand and business for hockey goalie development called Ireland Development. He has been working with many of our clients to improve their fitness and push people to the next level of their training. Jake has an extensive background in athletic training and has experience in athletic performance as he was a goalie himself and drafted to the Erie Otters of the OHL in 2012. Jake is great with our young hockey, lacrosse, soccer and baseball players and is also running some of our classes as well. Curtis Coyne

Curtis is a Personal Trainer for Velocity and has 30 years experience in Education and coaching various sports. Curtis has completed over 25 Half, Full and Ultra Marathons including 8 Boston Marathons and the 125km Canadian Death Race. He has also competed as a member of team Canada at 2 World Duathlon Age Groups Championships. Curtis is running our classes and is a valuable personal trainer. As a member of our team Curtis looks forward to sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience with our members.
